About Spirited Brunch

Now in its ninth year, Spirited Brunch is a free, self-guided snack tour of downtown Charleston's historic houses of worship. Visitors explore congregations at their own pace, sampling foods that reflect each community's history and heritage.

Event sponsor

Spirited Brunch is sponsored by the Charleston Interreligious Council, College of Charleston, The Food Section, and the Preservation Society of Charleston.

Getting around

Lower peninsula: Most stops are clustered between Broad Street and Calhoun Street, walkable in under 15 minutes end to end.

Upper peninsula: Stops are more spread out — a car or bike is recommended. The Pink Cactus HQ at 100A Spring St. has nearby parking.

Printed maps are available at both headquarters, and all participating houses of worship, as well as the Preservation Society of Charleston, 147 King St.
